For this project, the client desired to remodel their existing patio due to its deterioration and lack of proper function and aesthetic appeal. We presented the client with several design options for the patio, including one featuring an updated pergola. Ultimately, they chose to renovate only the patio initially, with the potential addition of a sunroom at a later date. They also selected a curved patio design to soften the linear elements of the house exterior and driveway, creating a visually appealing result. I measured the entirety of the existing patio and drafted all the existing plans in AutoCAD, overlaying the line drawing with a site map of the home for accuracy. This process aided in determining the optimal layout for their existing outdoor furniture and other necessary elements within the space. Lotus Landscape contracted a stonemason to construct the patio.
