Beds Before – A large Rosa Ragosa bed that was a bit wild and out of control
Herbs were also tucked into the front on one side of the bed, but it looked messy and out of place
Beds After—The roses were removed, and perennials were installed. I selected plants from mainland nurseries and shipped them on the ferry to Block Island. The client wanted white limelight hydrangeas. For the rest of the plants, we kept deer-resistance and bloom time in mind to create the most long-lasting and maintainable display.
We created this new bed by their brand new outdoor shower and planted vitex, butterfly bushes, and catmint. Hardy deer-resistant perennials.
